Woman hurt in car smash

A WARRINGTON woman suffered a broken pelvis when the car she was driving was in collision with another car.

The incident happened outside the Trafford Centre at the junction of Westinghouse Road and Commerce Way at around 5.10pm on Thursday, June 17.

Fire crews had to release the 30-year-old woman from her car. She was taken to Trafford General Hospital where she was kept in over night for treatment.

The driver of the other car, a 33-year-old man from Hale Barns suffered slight facial injuries was also taken to hospital, but was later discharged.
