Fundraising concert

A MUSICAL extravaganza will help to raise funds for a Burtonwood man's memorial.

Fred Philips, who died in December, has been described as 'a true ambassador for Burtonwood'.

He was Mayor of Warrington and served on Burtonwood's Parish Council for 40 years.

The fundraising concert takes place on Saturday, June 26. The three bands - Link Up, Burtonwood's Best and Catcher - will be joined by comedy group The Village Idiots.

The fundraising night will be held in Burtonwood's Catholic Club. Doors open at 7.30pm.
