Carnivals need more volunteers
DATES have now been set for the Westy and Howley carnivals - but help is still needed if they are going to be days to remember.
Westy Carnival will take place on Saturday, July 17, while Howley Carnival is set to kick off on Saturday, July 24.
The Westy cause has been aided by two cash injections of £500 from Westy Sure Start and Alcan Recycling.
But volunteers are needed for both community festivals to act as marshals and to set up stalls.
