So how much has this recycling cost?

WITH reference to the article 'Green Message All Wrapped Up' (St Helens Star, April 29) whereby Cllr Mike Doyle is proudly displaying the recycling of land, I am amazed that the executive member of the council can boast about recycling land where houses were built and lasted less than 40 years, millions of pounds spent on them at a later date and then the cost of demolition.

However, this is just one example, perhaps he should have gone on to boast about Park Road, Portico Estate, Peasley Cross, Sutton Manor, in fact I don't think there is an area in town that has not had land recycled at such an expensive cost. Not to mention the upheaval and social price paid by families.
