Doing the town proud

FIFE Rangers soccer starlets were in scintillating form as they became the first team from Warrington to win the under sevens section of an annual football tournament in Skegness.

They won seven of their eight games in the three-day tournament, scoring 24 goals and conceding only three in the process.

The event boasted more than 200 teams from all over the country.

It was, as always, backed by Leicester City Football Club.

Fife's under sevens team was made up of George Cooper, Adam Jones, Lewis Kirkpatrick, Scott Burgess, David Fanning, Connor Silver, Harvey Livett, Liam Burtham, Liam O'Neil and Nathaniel McCarroll.
