Darren's day

SPECIAL thanks from Runcorn Boys Boxing Club goes to match-maker Rab Shearer who helped coach John Lalley make the Pavilions event such a success.

Among the highlights was a victory for 15-year-old Darren Lalley who beat Steve Buchanan in the best fight of the night.

John would also like to thank Mr Isaacs who attended the event to present the Steve Isaacs memorial trophy, awarded to the best boxer of the night, James Hignett.

Thanks also to everyone at the club, including the MC Gerry Stanford, Dave Stanford, and Paul and Lynn Cannon.
