Last time we go for a swim at these baths!

A SWIMMER has vowed never to return to a local pool after foul-mouthed kids abused her father.

Debra Scott, from Rainhill had gone to Sutton Leisure Centre along with her six-year-old son and 61-year-old father Brian Ellis.

After a session in the pool, he had gone into the changing rooms with his grandson where he was subjected to a torrent of swearwords by the yobs, who then threw wet towels and swimming trunks at him.

"He came out very distressed," she said. "Even the attendant had difficulty controlling them."

"These children must have only been about 11-years-old.

"I telephoned the manager at the swimming pool, who said that they have to put up with this all the time."

Mrs Scott said that these children were allowed in free of charge over some holidays along with other pools across the town.

"Now we are going to have to go to Chester Baths," she said.

A spokesman from the council said they have been made aware of the situation and are investigating.
