THE council has placed a waiting order on parts of Hallfields Road and Orford Green as part of the Withers Avenue traffic management scheme.
Feedback from consultations with residents and businesses in the area highlighted serious safety concerns about the junction of Hallfields Roads and Orford Green.
And in response to the concerns raised, new traffic signals, pedestrian crossings and cycle facilities will be introduced in the area.
The waiting order will prevent vehicles from parking on or near the junction and improve the safe flow of traffic.
A map of the restricted areas can be viewed at the Town Hall in Sankey Street during office hours, Monday to Friday. Any objections or representations must be sent in writing to H Norris, Solicitor to the Council, Town Hall, Sankey Street, Warrington, WA1 1UH by March 15 and should specify the grounds on which they are made.
