Rotation will not be the norm

A WARRINGTON Wolves rotation of players is expected for Saturday's Challenge Cup tie with Rochdale Hornets but 'rotation' will not be the norm throughout the season.

Wolves' head coach Paul Cullen explains: "Rotation will only be to a point.

"We'll not rotate for the sake of keeping everyone happy. We'll rotate when we need to and when we can do.

"We'll put out the strongest teams as and when necessary. The players will want to make the point that we will not be weakened by whoever plays and that's a level that we need to reach.

"We're not there yet and some of those guys who consider themselves to be squad members at the moment need to get to the level that, if injuries set in or if form drops among those who have the shirts, we'll actually be strengthening the team when changes are made.

"That would be a very healthy position to get ourselves into."
