Latchford U10s 16

THE Bears took the game within the first 10 minutes from J Campbell and K Butterworth.

Latchford took a while to get into the game with a try but the Bears hit back straightaway with another two tries.

Tries came from every position on the pitch including a superb effort from Connor Briers for the fifth and last kick.

The defence was strong right across the park.

West Bank Bears U7s 32 Halton Farnworth

Hornets U7s 40

THE Bears and Halton Farnworth Hornets served up an entertaining end-to-end game.

The lead changed hands several times before the Hornets ran in a couple of late tries to take the game.

With his superb tackling and three tries, Dylan Thomas earned another Bears man of the match award.

Callum Ingham took the Bears top tackler award with several crunching tackles to go with his two tries.

The two Bears coach's awards went to Ben Hopwood and Adam Wood in the action half back role.

The other three tries were scored by Shaun Mannion (2) and Oliver Ashall-Bott.
