A LAST minute try by parents' man of the match Daniel Richardson saw Moorfield emerge worthy winners.

Frodsham youngster Jonathan Furnival burst through the Wigan side to score under the posts.

Moorfield went in 4-0 at the break and had it all to do in the second half running up the hill.

Rose Bridge started to come more into the game and eventually forced their way over to level.

Opposition man of the match David Richardson was back to his best and with Liam Murnane, top tackler Lewis Scott and Furnival making good yards, it was inevitable Moorfield would score. After good passing along the line starting with Liam Davies, Daniel Richardson latched onto a pass from Scott to put Moorfield ahead.

Ince replied straightaway and it looked as if it was going to be a draw.

But Jonathan Townsend and Dylan Bennett got good field position and then after getting the ball on the halfway line Richardson ran to the line to score under the posts.
