Free light bulbs on offer, if you are on benefits

RESIDENTS in Fairfield and Howley who are receiving benefits can claim four free energy-saving light bulbs in a one-off promotion next week.

Residents will need to bring proof that they claim benefits.

The bulbs can be picked up from the following venues:

Monday at the Community Flat, Watkin Street, from 11am until noon, and from 1pm until 2pm at the Community House, Robson Street.

Wednesday at the Community House, Nora Street, from 10.30am until 11.30am, and from the Manchester Road Community House from noon until 1pm.

And Friday from 2pm until 3pm at the Community House, on Cabul Close.
