Beechwood show spark

Spartak 2 Beechwood 5

BEECHWOOD continued with their unbeaten start to the season with a convincing victory over struggling Spartak.

A rusty performance from both teams in the first half saw Spartak take the lead twice only to be pegged back by outstanding Paul Gleave and Alex Pill.

Beechwood started the second half in determined fashion and dominated play even having the luxury of a rear missed a penalty from Walsh after a fantastic save from the in-form Spartak keeper. Gleave and Pill added to their first half strikes and Kev Morris rounded off a comfortable win. Man of the match was Alex Pill.
