Big turnout expected for Halton road race

HUNDREDS of runners are expected to cross the Runcorn Bridge in the Halton Road Race on Easter Sunday.

Halton Haven Hospice is appealing for participants to enter the event in support of their charity.

Brian Halliwell, fundraising manager, said: "Whether you are an experienced racer, a fun runner or just someone who wants to get your family, work colleagues and friends to sponsor your efforts, it's an ideal way to help raise much needed funds for Halton Haven."

Call Brian on 01928-712728 to record your hospice entry and you will receive an official sponsor form.
