A ST HELENS man was given a two years conditional discharge and ordered to pay £90 costs by St Helens Magistrates after he pleaded guilty to two offences of dishonestly obtaining Housing Benefit and Council Benefit totalling £1917.70. He is also required to repay the overpaid benefit to St Helens Council.
The case was brought by St Helens Council Benefit Fraud Team based at Lincoln House, Corporation Street, St Helens.
