THERE was a last minute change of venue for the second match in Barnton & Frodsham AC's Amanda Lester Cup series on Sunday morning.
Strong winds meant the Trent and Mersey Canal was un-fishable at the Broken Cross and the match was switched to the more sheltered Red Lion, Barnton stretch.
Ronny Durr claimed maximum points from peg eight with a net of 1-10-5 consisting of roach, gudgeon and a bonus perch of around the one-pound mark. All of Durr's fish were taken on caster presented in the boat channel.
In second place was Tony Williams who fished bread punch in the track from peg four to land a total of 30 small roach and gudgeon that registered 1-6-14 on the scales at the weigh-in.
The frame was completed by Danny Griffiths, on peg one, with an all-roach net of 1-1-0, all taken on squatt and worm.
