Grange claim medal haul

THE GRANGE School proved they are more than a match for any school in the country after claiming four gold medals at the Indoor Rowing Championships.

The event, held at The Velodrome, Manchester, saw more than 350 competitors take up the oars and race over 200 and 500 metres.

Winners on the day for The Grange were: Fiona Hill (women's junior 18 lightweight), Edward Ford (boys' junior 14 gold), Josh Goodman (boys' junior 13), Richard Digby (boys' junior 12).

The school also claimed silver and bronze medals thanks to Kirsty Atherton (silver), John Ford (silver), Sam Goodman (silver), Christina Spencer (silver), Tom Ford (silver) and Dominic Williams (bronze).
