Wood take control

OWLEY Wood C extended their lead at the top of the Premier Division to 10 points with a 4-3 win over Middlewich Legion.

The victory continues Owley Wood's perfect record this season, giving them 17 wins from 17 matches.

Castle Private B remain at the foot of the division after losing 5-2 to fellow strugglers Lostock A.

Middlewich Legion D won the derby match against their A team thanks largely to a 43 break from Rob Lyons.

The win gives Legion D a six point lead at the top of Division One.

Castle Private A's 6-1 win over Hartford B keeps them at the top of Division Two while Moulton A sit atop Division Three following a 6-1 win over Cygnet B.
