Rudheath on the move

RUDHEATH returned to the top of the first division after whitewashing Blue Barrel A with the help of two eight-ball breaks from Gregg Morris and Fred Backhouse.

There was also a consolation eight-baller for Old Crown's Andy Johnson, as his team lost 5-2 to second placed Owley Wood B

Volunteer A kept in touch with the top sides with a 6-1 victory at Coachman A, while Pillar of Salt had an important 6-1 win against Barnton RBL.

At the top of division two, Barn Owl extended their lead after beating RAOB 6-1 and Chapels Wine Bar won at Wheatsheaf A while Wheatsheaf B's slip in form continued with a defeat at Volunteer B.
