Westwood all clear

SALFORD City Reds have failed in a bid to have a Warrington Wolves player punished for an alleged high tackle in their recent friendly fixture.

The Reds sent a video tape to Rugby Football League headquarters citing Wolves centre Ben Westwood following an incident with Salford scrum half Gavin Clinch.

Officials at Red Hall studied the footage and declared that Westwood does not have a case to answer.
