Road closure on A56

MOTORISTS are advised that a section of the A56 at Runcorn will be closed for a weekend next month to carry out emergency repairs.

The closure will be on the A56 as it passes over the M56 adjacent to Murdishaw roundabout, towards junction 11.

It will start at 8pm on Friday, March 5 and be completed by midnight on Sunday, March 7.

Advanced warning signs are in place and all traffic will be diverted via a diversion route using the central expressway, Daresbury expressway and the A56 Daresbury bypass.
