Dignitaries dig in to launch latest improvements

THE third stage of improvements in the £1 million Latchford Renewal Area scheme has begun in St Mary's Street and Slater Street.

Last week ward councillors, members of the Latchford Forum, and Helen Southworth, MP for Warrington South, launched the initiative.

It will see the introduction of white street lighting, additional parking spaces and the planting of new trees and shrubbery.
