60-bed care home planned

PLANS for a 60-bed care home in Collins Green have been submitted to the borough council for consideration.

If the planning application is approved, the disused garage on the corner of Penny Lane and Broad Lane will be demolished and, as well as the care home, 18 parking spaces will be created on the 0.5-hectare site.
