Roads to be fixed

THE 'pretty bad' roadways in Halton's cemeteries will be fixed as soon as money is available, the council's environment board has heard.

Cllr Stef Nelson told Runcorn Town Hall last week the money had not been available for roadworks.

He said: "I would just ask people to remember when they go that they may be pretty bad at the moment but we are addressing these problems and we will deal with them as soon as we can."
