Bulls beaten by Bears

Bank Quay Bulls U11s 28

West Bank Bears U11s 30

A SIX-man Warrington outfit took on a 15 strong pack of Bears and very nearly took the spoils. With the Bears chopping and changing throughout it was definitely the West Bank coaching staff who earned their stripes trying to find the right combination to wear down this plucky outfit.

The game went too and fro throughout the 40 minutes but two tries unanswered sealed the game with seconds to go.

RJM man of the match was Arron Pointon, Runcorn Vehicle Dismantlers top tackler award went to Chris Morris and the Gerrard Associates coach's award went to strong runner James Telford.

New players are welcome for training at West Bank playing field on Saturday, 10.30am.
