Should we still get married?

I'm currently living with my partner of two years and my two children in my partner's house. We have been going through a really rough patch lately.

My partner now tells me he, he doesn't trust me anymore because when he goes out to work at weekends, I go out to enjoy myself with my friends. He wants us to split up but I don't want to. I love him with all my heart. We were supposed to be getting married this year. Will we stay together and will we get married?

Dear Kelly, Put the marriage off but don't put the relationship off. Ask him the truth about why he feels the way he does. He feels resentful that he has to work at night and you don't, so obviously his mind goes into overdrive. He does love you, but you need to be less easygoing and show him how much you love him and want him in your life. Stay with him not because you live in his house with the children.
