Teenage trio on burglary charges

THREE Liverpool youths, including one as young as 13, have been charged with a series of offences that relate to a burglary and theft of a car in Sutton.

The 13-year-old boy, from Kensington, Liverpool, has been charged with two counts of burglary, one of which relates to the incident in Sutton. He has also been charged with three counts of unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle, two counts of driving without insurance, dangerous driving, driving without a licence and disqualified driving.

A 14-year-old boy from North Liverpool has been charged with burglary and being carried in a stolen vehicle. A 16-year-old boy from Dovecot has been charged with burglary, possession of a controlled drug and being carried in a stolen vehicle.

All three cannot be named for legal reasons. They were due to appear at St Helens Youth Court on Tuesday, January 20.
