Traffic calming planned

PROPOSALS have been made to introduce traffic calming measures on Grasmere Avenue and Darley Avenue in a bid to reduce traffic flow and speeds.

The measures will take the form of 10 round top road humps, which will increase the safety of the residential area and improve the quality of life for residents.

The humps will be 75 mm high and 3.70 metres long.

A copy of the drawing for the proposed scheme can be examined at the Chief Executive's Department at the Town Hall in Sankey Street during the usual office hours Monday to Friday.

Any objections or representations should be submitted in writing to H Norris, Solicitor to the Council, Town Hall, Sankey Street, Warrington, WA1 1UH no later than February 9.

All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
