IT was success all the way as schools across the area celebrated their results in the GCSE and post-

Leading the way once again was Cransley Girls' School in Great Budworth, which was top of the class in Cheshire for the second year running.

Helsby High School was the top comprehensive school in the Vale Royal area while Rudheath High School showed the most improvement.

In A levels, Sir John Deane's Sixth Form College was the top college in the north west and the fifth best nationwide.
