Money, money, money!

ST ROCCO'S Hospice and the Golden Square Shopping Centre are celebrating the perfect partnership this week after raising an incredible £100,000 together.

For the past four years, Golden Square has constantly supported the hospice in a variety of ways including seasonal fairs and a sunflower week, where all proceeds go to St Rocco's. But it's the St Rocco's stall set up in the Square during the six weeks run up to Christmas which is by far the most successful of the ventures, raising a massive £24,000 this year alone.

Claire Manock, appeals manager at St Rocco's, said: "Golden Square does so much more than just allowing us to utilise its space. The staff in the centre get very involved and interact fantastically with our volunteers to help in any way they can, which in turn motivates them. They always go that step further to help.

"The centre has made a real difference to the lives of the patients at St Rocco's. We look forward to continuing with the fun and full relationship we have developed with everyone at Golden Square.

Andrew Ward, centre manager at the Golden Square Shopping Centre, said: "We thoroughly enjoy getting involved with St Rocco's, and are very pleased that we have been able to raise such a large amount in only four years."
