DETECTIVES investigating the drug-related murder of a Nantwich market trader last summer have charged another man in connection with the killing.
The body of Brian Waters, 43, of Mainwaring Close in Stapeley, was discovered on June 19 at Burnt House Farm in Tabley.
Three men have already been charged with his murder, but ongoing investigations resulted in a fourth man being charged last week.
David Brian Moran, 40, of Gorton, Manchester, appeared at Macclesfield Magistrates on Friday accused of conspiracy to murder, and conspiracy to inflict grievous bodily harm.
He was also charged with conspiracy to inflict grievous bodily harm on Sulenan Razak who suffered serious injuries at the property rented by Mr Waters.
Cheshire Police issued an unprecedented appeal for help in the hunt for the attackers in December when it offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of those responsible for what they called a 'sustained and prolonged attack'.
Police believe three other offenders are still at large and the investigating team is desperate to trace Christopher Guest More in connection with the murder.
More, 25, who lived in the Lymm area, boarded a plane to Spain within 24-hours of the incident and was known to be in the Marbella area.
Police have been working with Interpol in an effort to track him down and are also keen to trace a red Mercedes coupe that was at More's home address the day before the murder.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Jones, said: "We do not know whether he has returned to this country or is still abroad, but I have no doubt that someone will know where he is.
"We are appealing to the drugs and criminal fraternity of Manchester and Chester to assist us in apprehending the offenders."
More is described as muscular and athletic in build with a scar on the bridge of his nose. He has a northern accent and is between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall.
James Stuart Raven, 44, Otis Lee Matthews, 26, and John Wilson, 53, all from Manchester, have all been charged with murder.
Wilson is also charged with conspiracy to commit GBH, while Raven and Matthews are both charged with causing GBH with intent and four counts of false imprisonment.
