MARK Forster's Rylands outfit enjoyed an 11-try romp against Haresfinch in a North West Counties Cup second round tie.

Rylands opened the scoring inside two minutes with a try from centre Paul Clayton and further touch downs followed at regular intervals from Thurston, two, Peter Leonard, two, Neil Evans, Mike Lee, John Ward, Mike Ward, Alan Brinksman and Mickey Twiss. Peter Leonard kicked seven goals and Phil Stevens, two.

The forwards laid the foundation for Rylands' victory with some aggressive tackling and strong running.

The most impressive performers for rampant Rylands were Brinksman, Thurston, Andy Brown and Andy Smith.
