Wids U11s clobber Collegiate twice

Collegiate U11s 7 Wids U11s 28

Collegiate U11s 0 Wids U11s 21

THE Wids U11s visited Collegiate and came away with two impressive wins to maintain their unbeaten run.

The Wids dominated both games and demonstrated excellent rucking that made quick ball available to the backs.

Morris, supported by the very experienced and in-form front five, went over for a superb forwards score and showed the home side how to drive.

The Wids then went on to use clean fast ball to put Smith over for his hat trick.

Excellent technical skills, determination at the breakdowns and ripping put the Wids side beyond the hosts and Phillips put away the conversions to finish the first game 28-7.

The second game saw a few changes in personnel and Buckle, Preston and Doolan all went over the line for their first points of 2004.

Phillips slotted the kicks and Doolan showed just what hard direct running can achieve.

With a second win of 21-0 to the Wids, it is a great start to 2004 for the unbeaten U11s.
