Jack and the Beanstalk - Parr Hall, Warrington

Panto season is well under way at the Parr Hall with Jack climbing his beanstalk and successfully defeating the giant at the top.

Chris Holmes is the man of the moment as Jack while Toffee and Morse - Newfoundland dogs - are just two of his co-stars.

Gail Thorne, cultural development services manager at Parr Hall, said: "Jack and the Beanstalk has been a huge hit this year - one of our most successful pantos ever.

"The atmosphere is electric, with children, teachers and members of the public all having an amazing time."

The show is on until Sunday, January 18, and tickets are available by ringing the box office on 01925 442345.
