Nilling compounds misery

MOORE'S miserable season continued when they were nilled by mid-table Oldershaw in the Rugby Football Union's Powergen Northern Division South Lancashire/Cheshire Two.

The result left Moore rooted to the bottom of the table and staring relegation in the face but they can take some positives from the game. Their defence proved solid under considerable pressure and their set scrum worked well.

Moore blooded two South Africans in the backs and Jason Christie performed particularly well at fly half.
