THE Bears started the New Year in superb fashion.

A poor effort before Christmas left Halton Hornets taking the spoils 34-8 but the Bears responded with this fine win over their Warrington neighbours.

The forwards again laid the platform with a try each from Joe Miller, Will Donlan, Tom Costes and RJM man of the match Adam Walton.

This takes the Bears winning streak to seven wins from eight games.
