Run by Raleigh International, the programme will give them the chance to experience life in native communities, undertake a variety of community and environmental projects and take part in adventure treks through national parks and active volcano ranges.
The ten-week programme is composed of projects, which, apart from the expeditions, include the chance to work with other young people on local initiatives in neighbouring Nicaragua.
The Central American country is the second poorest nation in the Western hemisphere.
l Potential sponsors should contact Ravenhead Foyer on 01744 20597.
