Is there a spirit in the house?

My mum lives in a house in Ainsdale with my sister. I lived there for a while recently and experienced some strange events.

Nothing serious happened, just food going missing, noises etc. My sister's room in the loft seemed to be the source of a presence. She referred to it herself as 'the spirit', although says it never harmed her, and she only got frightened when in the house on her own.

The dog also used to get uppity on occasion. Any idea who or what it is, if anything? Your comments would be appreciated.

It's a lady. I don't know what the connection is with the house but she seems to be house proud. Also she's drawing my attention to someone's teeth at the back of the mouth. So she is a caring lady. If you want me to visit, you give me a call.
