Jack & the Beanstalk - Parr Hall, Warrington

All the usual shouts of "he's behind you" and "oh no he isn't" will be echoing round The Parr Hall as the pantomime season continues in Warrington.

With cows being sold for beans and a giant living at the top of a towering plant, it's Jack and the Beanstalk that is topping the bill.

The panto has opened for a 10-show run and Chris Holmes will be trading his trousers for tights as he takes on the role of Jack.

Becky Francis will be weaving her magic as the fairy, Dave Peters is Dame Trott and they will be joined by Newfoundland dogs Toffee and Morse in British Stage Productions' seasonal offering.

Tickets are available for the show, which is on until Sunday, January 18, by ringing the box office on 01925 442345.
