I AM still waiting for a reply from ShaunWoodward to the three questions I posed to him in August. Can he explain why, if he is so committed to the representation of the people of St Helens, he has voted in Parliament for:

An illegal and unjustified war on Iraq costing thousands of innocent lives and billions of pounds that should have been spent on schools and hospitals.

The imposition of tuition fees on our student population, when he himself did not have to pay for his university education.

The creation of foundation hospitals, which will, like specialist schools in education, lead to a two-tier system.

MIKE Perry, Prescot Road,

St Helens.
