I AM currently in receipt of an Incapacity Benefit, however on December 23 1998, I reached the age of 65 and then obviously I became eligible for Old Age Pension. However this pension is only payable from the first Monday after the 65th birthday and according to regulations, there can be no pension from the 23rd to 27th December. read more
MEMBERS recently passed to me a copy of an article from the GUARDIAN concerning the possibility of an indoor Bowling Centre being built in Warrington. I am the treasurer of two Bowling Clubs in Croft. We have in total some 300 members. You can be assured that we would welcome such a facility and give it our support. We currently travel to Prestatyn to avail ourselves of such a facility, which, if it were nearer, we would use far more often. read more
