IN reply again to Councillor Black's latest letter in the Warrington GUARDIAN of January 15. I must point out that he missed the point I was making over pollution. Cars with petrol engines are very much more efficient than 10 years ago. Diesels pump out particulate, soot or whatever you want to call it. This was the reference I was making to asthma sufferers for whom this soot is of particular importance. read more
