Fed up with cats using garden as a toilet

I AM writing with regard to R W Woodward's letter in last week's Guardian.

I am a responsible dog owner and have been for some time.

I take great care in training my dog to do his duties in the correct place.

If cat owners are so intelligent then perhaps they could train their animals to stop using my garden as a toilet.

I am sick to death of removing cat faeces from my lawns and borders.

I have to do this daily as my little boy plays in the garden.

At least I know where and when my dog has been to the toilet and I can clean up after him.

If cat owners could keep their animals indoors then I wouldn't have this problem of cleaning up after them.
