KARL STRIKES BACK AFTER TRAILER TRAUMA

THE Force is definitely not with cinema manager Karl Woods.

But he's hoping to strike back after Twentieth Century Fox failed to send him the latest trailer for the new Star Wars film.

"I'm annoyed because the first one was such a success," said Karl.

"We had people coming in here who were more interested in the trailer than the film that was coming after it. It was just a magic moment, when people heard the music and saw the new scenes.

"Trailer B is even better - but I just can't show it."

The second trailer for The Phantom Menace was shown on TV two months ago and has been in cinemas for the last fortnight. Despite signing up for a copy weeks ago, Karl still hasn't received one.

But following enquiries by the Guardian, Fox have pledged to send Karl a copy.

A spokesman said: "We apologise to Mr Woods that there has been a delay. He will be getting one in the next few days."

"That may be why Mr Woods wasn't able to get a response on the matter."
