WOLVES coach Darryl Van de Velde is having his players practicing defending kicks this week.
London scored two first half tries and had another one disallowed from grubbers and chip throughs at the weekend while Bradford scored two off kicks the week before against Warrington.
Mark Aston is an astute kicker for Sheffield, who will be Warrrington's next opponents.
Van de Velde says: "We showed a lack of urgency when London got inside our 22m area.
"Twice they scored from kicks on the last tackle, which is standard play for a last tackle but we didn't compete or cover for them.
"I don't think it is too common an occurrence but defending kicks is something we are going to have to work on because it could have cost us the game."
Van de Velde was not too happy with the way the Wolves played in the first half at London but was pleased with the second half and the result.
He said: "We started the game very positively with Alan Hunte's try early on but every time we scored we went to sleep and they scored. But we finished the game strongly and just grounded out the win in the second half and I was pleased with that."
The Wolves boss was pleased with the form of his big signing, Hunte.
He said: "Huntey's hit a purple patch so hopefully he can carry that through.
"He looked really sharp in the first half and in the second half he nearly got through several times but just got ankle-tapped.
"In general I thought some of our attacking options were good against London. We broke them down a number of times and dropped at least three good opportunites."
