Wigan St Judes u11s 18
POOR defending cost the Bears the game.
The Bears caught St Judes napping when Butler nipped in and collected a kick from the fifth to cross for the Bears opener.
St Judes simply walked in the equaliser.
The Bears went ahead again after Tunstead powerfully crossed from half-back.
Yet again St Judes pulled the score back with a very easy try and make it a half-time score of 8-10 with the conversion.
The second-half defending was just as poor when the Bears conceded another try.
Excellent passing from the left wing across the park set up Tunstead to cross on the right.
Unfortunately the Bears let St Judes in yet again in the dying minutes to claim the spoils.
Ryan Haliburton's hunger to make yards and complete his tackles earned him Mom.
Top tacklers where Tunstead, Teeling and Ainsworth.
A bright game and good positional play by Cartledge won him player of the week.
