KOSOVO CAKE AID

CAKE MAKERS joined forces at the weekend to help raise almost £400 for the refugees from war-torn Kosovo.

The money was raised at Congleton Cricket Club by a group of women under the banner of Caring for Kosovo.

The group includes women who formed the Congleton Town Mayoress's Committee during the civic year for Elizabeth Kitton, who took part in Saturday's fund-raiser. The money goes to the Kosovo Crisis Appeal.
