CONGLETON firms could soon be using flower power to promote their names.

Congleton Borough Council is offering businesses the chance to have their name displayed on roundabouts in Congleton, Sandbach or Middlewich. In return the firms would sponsor ae traffic island.

"Motorists who travel through these areas will be familiar with the colourful displays," said council landscape head Phil Van Schijndel.

"We are are inviting companies to benefit from being associated with these very visible landmarks."
