JOHN'S SPIN CYCLE

JOHN Parton recovered from an early spin to finish second in class on his return home last weekend.

The Shavington racer fought back through the field after heavy showers made the first laps a real challenge for the drivers on the Oulton Park circuit.

Neil Lamont, from Nantwich, put in a strong performance to finish one place ahead of his teammate and both are now looking forward to round 4 of the Modified Production Saloon Championship in South Wales next week.
