CHARITY HIT SQUAD HOPES LOCALS WILL HAVE A HEART

A VOLUNTEER hit squad from the British Heart Foundation will be descending on Nantwich next week to recruit more helpers.

The team, made up of staff and volunteers, are hoping to find people to work at the charity's shop in High Street.

They will be handing out balloons and leaflets and offering free tea and coffee as well as answering any questions people have.

Shop manager Claire Weedall said: "Inside the shop we can show people exactly what we do and how they can help by giving us just a few hours a week.

"Volunteers are our lifeblood, without them we really couldn't exist."

BHF would like to thank everyone in Nantwich for their support and to all the staff and volunteers who have raised almost £10 million this year for heart research.
